About Trattoria Sant'andrea

Introducing Trattoria Sant'andrea, a welcoming restaurant tucked away in the quiet streets of Faenza, where everyday Italian cooking is treated with genuine respect and zero pretension. Located at Via Granarolo, 269, 48018 Faenza RA, Italy, this spot feels like the kind of place locals return to without overthinking it, because the food, the mood, and the rhythm of service simply work together. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, making it easy to settle in whether you are stopping by for a quick bite or planning to linger over multiple courses. Outdoor seating adds an easygoing charm on pleasant days, while the indoor dining area keeps things comfortable and unforced, perfect for casual lunches or laid-back dinners. What really defines Trattoria Sant'andrea is its flexible approach to dining. You can choose to dine in and enjoy the full experience, grab takeaway when time is tight, or sit outside with a glass of wine and let the evening unfold naturally. The menu leans into variety without feeling scattered, offering everything from small plates ideal for sharing to healthier options that do not sacrifice flavor. Coffee flows just as easily as cocktails, and the selection of wine, beer, spirits, and alcohol overall fits seamlessly into the food rather than competing with it. Late-night food is part of the appeal here, especially for guests who prefer eating on their own schedule. At the same time, quick bites are handled with the same care as longer meals, which says a lot about the kitchen’s mindset. The service style stays attentive but never intrusive, allowing conversations to breathe and meals to feel unhurried. Trattoria Sant'andrea comes across as a restaurant that understands balance, offering choice, comfort, and consistency in a way that feels natural rather than designed, for guests seeking honest flavors, relaxed pacing, and a dependable neighborhood dining experience.

Very good trattoria and very busy with local people, which is always a good sign. We only had one dish, the risotto alla marinara but it was very good and enough to fill you up. Looking at what other people in the restaurant ordered, everything looked fantastic. It’s a shame we weren’t very hungry because I believe we would have enjoyed other items on the menu. Oh, we had a dessert with a chocolate cake, dark chocolate sauce over it and mascarpone on the side of it and it was to die for. Can highly recommend this trattoria! Lastly, it was just off of the motorway, so we got off and found this place within a short distance.

A great place to eat! even though it was busy on a Monday night, the service was prompt and friendly. Good food and very reasonably priced
